Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers Vacancy

Please note that there will be a position vacancy on the Board of Athletic Trainers effective 12/31/08.  Any Alabama-licensed athletic trainer "who has acted as an athletic trainer for three years within this state immediately preceding appointment" is eligible to serve in this Board position.  Only athletic trainers currently licensed by the Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers are able to nominate a member meeting the above requirements and only licensed athletic trainers are able to vote.  Please email your nominations to Jamie S. Gamber at jlsaddler@hotmail.com.  If you are nominating someone, please give me their full name and their place of employment so that I can verify their eligibility and their acceptance of the nomination.  I will also need your full name and Alabama license number.  Please email any and all nominations as soon as possible.  I will also be accepting nominations at the Alabama Athletic Trainers Association Annual Meeting.  We will vote for this position during the ALATA Town Hall Meeting.

Thank you and we will see you at the beach!
Jamie S. Gamber, ATC
