As all of you are aware, we recently conducted Special  Elections for the office of Vice President and one Non-Officer position.  Due to a clerical discrepancy, we will have to re-run the election.  The nomination process will begin on July 23 and will end on August 6; voting will begin August 9 and will end August 23 at 10:59 P.M.CDT.  We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience.  Please see the excerpt from the Bylaws below for the nomination process.  We appreciate your patience and understanding.

3.2 Nominations and Elections

A Member entitled to vote on ALATA, Inc. affairs, as set forth in Article I in these Bylaws, may nominate an eligible Member for a position on the Executive Council.  Nominations must be made in writing, to include email, to the Secretary of ALATA, Inc.......

3.3 Qualifications for Executive Council Members

All Officers and Non-Officer Members of the Executive Council must be either a Certified/Licensed, Licensed or Certified/Licensed – Student Member in good standing of ALATA, Inc.  All Executive Council Members must have been a Certified/Licensed or Licensed Member of ALATA, Inc. for a minimum of two (2) years prior to nomination.
