The Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers will have its “Sunset” Review on Thursday, October 16, at 10:30 a.m.  The review will be conducted in Montgomery in the Joint Briefing Room on the 8th floor at the Alabama State House, 11 South Union Street, on the 8^th floor.

This is a very important hearing (occurs every four years) to assess how well the Board is functioning and its effectiveness in fulfilling its duties.  It will afford us an opportunity to address any significant issues and findings which were identified by the auditors from the Public Examiners Department and answer any questions that arise.  The Sunset Review Committee will make a recommendation to the Legislature regarding the continuation of the Board based on the hearing.
